Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Search Term Pro at app.twospouts.com (the "Service"), operated by Twospouts ("we", "us"). By connecting a Google Ads account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
What the Service does
Search Term Pro reads the search terms in a Google Ads account you connect, uses a large language model to identify spend that is unlikely to convert, and proposes negative keywords. With your approval it adds those negative keywords to your account. It can run on a schedule.
Your account and authority
You must have the authority to manage any Google Ads account you connect. If you connect an account on behalf of a client or employer, you confirm you are permitted to do so and to allow the changes described here.
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google login secure. Revoke our access at any time via your Google account permissions.
Changes to your ad account
The Service modifies a live advertising account. Its changes are limited to negative keywords and the lists that hold them: it adds negative keywords to a list; where no existing list suits a proposal it creates a new negative keyword list and attaches it to your enabled Search campaigns; and it removes negatives it added if you revert.
Auto-apply. If you enable auto-apply, negatives are added on your chosen schedule without further review by you. You choose to enable it, and you accept the resulting changes. A negative keyword blocks future ads from showing on matching searches, which reduces traffic — that is its purpose, and it can reduce traffic you wanted.
Every change is logged and reversible in the Service, but reverting does not recover spend or traffic in the intervening period.
AI output is not guaranteed to be correct
Proposals are produced by a large language model and may be wrong. A term it flags may be valuable to you; a term it misses may be waste. Judgements about your business are ultimately yours. Review proposals before approving them, and treat auto-apply as a considered choice rather than a default.
Your API key and costs
The Service is bring-your-own-key: reviews run against your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key, billed to you by that provider at their rates. We do not control or reimburse those costs. Your use of a provider is governed by that provider's own terms.
The Service itself is currently provided free of charge.
Availability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. It is early-stage software. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that a scheduled review will run at any particular time. We may change, suspend or discontinue it at any time.
It depends on the Google Ads API and on third-party AI providers. Failures, rate limits or policy changes at those providers can stop it working, and are outside our control.
Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and merchantability.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost or reduced advertising traffic, wasted ad spend, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to access an ad account you are not authorized to manage, to interfere with its operation or security, or in breach of Google's terms or advertising policies.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by revoking access in your Google account and emailing michael@twospouts.com to have your data deleted. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the Service.
Privacy
Our handling of your data, including data from Google, is described in our Privacy Policy.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
We may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept it. Questions: michael@twospouts.com.
